What to Expect at Coolum OSHC

Pre-prep Readiness

At Coolum OSHC, we understand the importance of pre-prep readiness and have a few gentle procedures in place to help support a smooth and confident transition into the school environment. Read our Pre-prep Handbook.

Child Care Subsidy

The Australian Government’s Child Care Subsidy (CCS) helps make Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) more affordable for families. The amount you pay depends on your family’s income and how often your child attends. Most families are eligible and can apply through Centrelink.

For example, with CCS, many families pay around $5–$10 for an After School Care (ASC) session, instead of the full fee.

XPLOR

We use the Xplor app to make your experience with Coolum OSHC easier and more connected. Xplor is a simple, user-friendly app where you can:

Book and cancel sessions
Sign your child in and out digitally
See important messages and reminders from our team
Track your CCS and payments in one place
