Mornings at Coolum OSHC are all about good vibes and getting children set up for a great day! We have a relaxed, fun space where children can ease into the school day with activities they actually enjoy, plus a yummy breakfast to fuel them up.

Children are able to participate in many self-selected activities like arts and crafts, STEM and building activities, group games, outdoor play, hands-on cooking experiences, water colour painting, music, dance and much more!

We serve up a healthy breakfast every morning: cereals, toast, crumpets, fruit, muffins, and milk are all on the menu. Check out this week’s menu and our Program Snapshot.

And don’t worry, our little Preps are personally walked to their classrooms by one of our friendly Educators before the bell rings, while our Year 1s will walk over on their own from Term 2.

After School Care

Afternoons at Coolum OSHC are all about kicking back, having fun, and getting stuck into awesome activities once the school day is done. Our team is here to help children wind down or keep the energy going, whatever they need!

Here’s just some of the fun your child can get into:

Playground & ropes course adventures: climbing, swinging, balancing and building confidence through active play
Creative & sensory play: think slime, clay, craft, and all things hands-on and calming
Cooking fun: children get to mix, stir, taste and learn while making yummy snacks
Movement games & challenges: perfect for burning off that end-of-day energy and working together as a team

Tennis court & oval time: heaps of space to run, kick, throw, and just play!
Arts & crafts: from painting to collaging, there’s always something colourful and creative going on
Musical instruments: a fun way to explore sounds, rhythms, and just make some joyful noise
Board games & puzzles: chill-out time that still gets those brains thinking
Special extras: we often run awesome add-ons like art sessions, sports clinics, and other rotating enrichments

Afternoon tea? Yep, we’ve got that covered too! Think fresh fruit and veggies, sandwiches, pasta, yoghurt, crackers, cheese, and more. See what’s on the menu.

And for the Preps and Year 1s, we make sure they’re picked up straight from their classrooms by one of our friendly Educators.

School holidays just got a whole lot more exciting at Coolum OSHC! Our Vacation Care program is open to children from any school and is packed with fun, hands-on activities and awesome excursions every week. Whether your child is into crafts, animals, physical activities, games science, or adventure, there's something for everyone!

Home days might include:

Giant jumping castles & inflatable fun
Cool science experiments and discovery stations
Animal and reptile visits
DIY obstacle courses
Themed arts & crafts days
Coached sports sessions and games

Excursions have included:

Trips to theme parks and action-packed venues
Bushwalks and nature adventures
Water and splash days
Movie outings
Arts, culture, and age-specific activities
Roller drome, gymnastics, bowling and more!

Think Halloween Night, Hawaiian Night, Christmas Party magic, and more! Kids can dive into games, music, awesome themed activities, yummy food, and hang out with their friends after dark.
